Campbell Mithun and Key Bank

In late October with fall fading fast, I teamed up with old pals AD, Wendy Hansen, and CW, Jan Pettit, to shoot a series of images for client Key Bank. The images were part of an ongoing campaign promoting services like home improvement loans, auto/cycle loans, paperless banking and banking by phone. We had a great week shooting in homes and locations all around the Twin Cities metro area and managed to wrap just barely before the weather went to-well, you know.

Soybean Export Council and FL+M Agency

In late July, I headed out with AD, Melanie Stovall, for a 4 day swing through South Dakota and Iowa photographing soybean farmers for client USSEC. The shoot went great but it was a trip that is burned in our memories forever. Ask me about it over a beer some time. It’s a good story.

Mosaic and Broadhead

For 3 hot days in July, ACD, Pam Mariutto, and I shot on a farm in southern Minnesota for Mosaic’s Pursuit 300 campaign. The farmers were flown in from around the country to be photographed on the farm near Lake Crystal, MN. One 14 hour day it hit 97 degrees. In February, Pam had me shooting with her in Nebraska and it was -10. Still not sure which was worse. Hey Pam, how about spring and 70°?

Ameripride and Bolin

Broadcast Producer Kris Wong-Barrie called and needed someone to shoot stills for a library of images for work uniforms provider Ameripride. Kris and the creative team from Bolin were shooting a video at the same time so I was turned loose to roam around a Volvo truck servicing center and Ameripride’s factory for 4 days grabbing all kinds images of the various workers.  One of my favorite kinds of assignments to do.

Preston Kelly and HealthPartners

Working with AD, Anne Taylor, and Art Buyer, Krista Kraabel, we shot a series of 4 newspaper ads for client HealthPartners that ran throughout the year. The backgrounds of the ads were filled with diagrams dramatizing the maze of understanding Medicare for seniors.
